This policy explains what information Brightbook Lending, Inc. ("Brightbook Lending", "we") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Notice at collection (California)
When you use our quiz, contact form or other tools, we collect the categories of information below for the purposes listed. We keep it only as long as needed for those purposes or as the law requires.

Who we share it with
- Lenders, only when you decide to apply or ask us to request a quote on your behalf
- Service providers who help us run our business (for example, website hosting and our client management software), under contracts that limit how they use it
- Authorities, when the law requires it
Calls and text messages
If you check the consent box on a form, we may call or text you about your request, including by automated means. Consent is never required to get a loan. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us by phone or email.
Loan applications
Information you give us when you actually apply for a loan is also covered by our separate privacy notice under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which we provide during the application.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you and how we use it
- Delete personal information we collected from you
- Correct information that's inaccurate
- Limit how we use sensitive personal information
We won't treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, email hello@brightbook.example or call (310) 555-0177. We'll confirm your identity before acting on it. Some information may be exempt, for example records we must keep under lending laws.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies and similar tools to measure traffic and improve pages. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Children
This site is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
